The Living Statue of Liberty

0

Have you seen the WWI era photo of the Statue of Liberty, composed entirely of soldiers? Nicole sent me an email with the photo, so I did some digging. It is an example of “living photography” and was the work of Arthur Mole and John Thomas in an effort to raise funds for the war and its victims. Click on the image to see the statue and many other examples of living photography from the Carl Hammer Gallery in Chicago.
