The new Chief Petty Officer indoctrination program isn’t like it use to be!
Only a true boatswain mate could pipe in the New Year with a paper party horn!
If I have to sit here and listen to him play that thing until midnight, I’m going to need more than just coffee and soda!!!
It is a good thing they made us leave our weapons at the door!!!
Happy New Year! All of you have been extended for 2 months..HORAY!!
How many times have we told him; “if you want to bring a Blowout toy to the meeting; bring enough for everyone”?
OK, will somebody PLEASE tell “Kenny G.” over there that we have been extended!
Now this is an “E” note and this is an “F” note…Did you guys want to hear me play “Anchors Away”?
The XO’s New Years “Duty” celebration didn’t quite work out the way he was hoping.
Wooh…wooh…This duty section is the best on the waterfront! I’ve volunteered us to stand double watches and gave the other duty sections time off to celebrate the New Year!
X.O., STOP “Tooting your own horn” AGAIN!! This wardroom truly believes in one screw, one crew!
Let’s ring in the New Year with the sounds of the bells and some good ole fashion Navy training. Precisely at midnight, I want you to call away GENERAL QUARTERS!!!
We are going to cross over the International Date Line today so I thought we could celebrate the New Year now sir……..Party horn anyone?
The New Years Eve USO tour was cancelled because of the economic recession so let’s just play musical chairs after my paper horn solo!
Together we celebrate the pain of 2008!!
I never thought Officer “KNIFE AND FORK” school would be so much fun! Does anybody know when do we get to salute?
I never thought Officer “KNIFE AND FORK†school would be so much fun! Does anybody know when we get to salute?
Who said Officer Training wasn’t an OXYMORON???
Despite his leadership by example, the Command Duty Officer was unable to convince the duty section leaders that duty on New Year’s Eve was not so bad.
If I have to hear him play Auld lang syne one more time I will scream!!!!!
Ringing in the New Year is not much fun without alcohol.
Someone call the Quarterdeck and have them pass the word “Secure from New Years celebrations, RESTOW ALL GEAR!!!”
I vote for TM Murphy’s CPO indoc caption. I can’t beat it 🙂
SWO board during the holidays, final question can you play anchors away with a Party Horn.
This isn’t what I meant when I said assemble a BOARDING party!
Look, it’s another MANDATORY FUN DAY….Yippeee!!!
The last time OPS gave his own section New Year’s Eve duty.
Good news troops! We’re leaving Iraq! But were moving to Afganistan.
The Commander and Chief himself gave us permission to make some changes to the New Year, no more chicken for chow!
Hooray! The WAR is over…you can all go home now except for the duty section ofcourse!
For the New Year, PORT and STARBOARD duty has been authorized! Fall out and carry on with the plan of the day!
You twit, this isn’t what the XO meant when he said liberty is cancelled until morale improves!
Mr Hornblower you are the only one of us who thinks the XO will consider this as iimproving morale in the new year.
