The Leap Frogs

My town is located about a million miles away from the nearest coast. But we got a treat today when the Navy Leap Frogs hit town. You don’t see many Navy people out this way, and they made a real splash (pun intended). Here are a few shots of them coming in after jumping from a C-130 at about 4500 feet.

The last to touch down is the SEAL carrying Old Glory.

And then, to everyone’s delight, we were able to visit with the elite team members. The Sailors were more than happy to pose for photos.

Someone told me that the midwest produces an inordinate percentage of SEALs, despite being nowhere near the ocean. I’m guessing the Leap Frogs have something to do with that.
