There is no more powerful Navy in the world, nor has there ever been. The ships, submarines, aircraft, special forces and armament are as lethal to their enemies as they are inspiring to their friends. The quality of its men and women is breathtaking. Today’s Navy is the finest, most capable maritime force the world has ever seen; and I challenge anyone to contradict that statement.
Those who are in the Navy today know they are part of something special. Even those who no longer wear the uniform feel a part of it still. It is in our blood from the day we raised our right hand, and it never leaves us.
We are proud to be Sailors, and proud of those who carry the torch today in all corners of the globe.
