August 28, 1963 was the date of Martin Luther King’s famous “I have a dream” speech, given on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Each year he recites Dr. King’s “I have been to the mountaintop” speech (given April 3, 1968 in Memphis, just one day before his assassination) by memory. I have seen Eric’s presentation in person, and it is as mesmerizing as it is emotional. I found a recording of him on YouTube, and invite you to watch him as well.
